Artist Statement: 

When looking at the art ive created this past week i really came to a big conclusion of what my style is and focuases on. i like to focuas on being large in canvas size but also with the materials used. I like the fact that the outcome will change over time. The idea of an never ending piece that i try to focus on a piece of work for as long as i can to make it have layers and be more then it is as a final. The understanding of a "unexpected and absurtity" to the pieces ive created all show what i tend to focus on in my art and art you see here.

Artist statement: 

When coming to the conclusion of where i wanted to go with all my pieces i really came to the concliusion that i wanted my pieces to all have diffreernt feelings but all have that monster esk to them. with the images you see above they gave me insportation on ideas for the creature in the spatter paint idea to then bring it all together to form a layered abstract peice that i will contuinue all throughout the semester.

when i started to create this work i really wanted to focuas on the main key elements which were the creation and decreation of found materials. I focus all my study on artist that use a lot of layers with art such as this one artist on instagram named @studio.braemar she layers a lot her work over each other to create large instilations in art. i also take a lot of instporation from banksy the street artist and another artist named @jessejart on isntagram.

I was given many words from the class about what my style can be and the few that stood out to me where whimsical, dark, curiocity, continuous and never ending. Many students in class would say there is always somthing to look at. Its a journey for your eyes to go through and see every detail you can with the work I create.
