Artist Statement:
When i was creating this rug it was all new to me. I wanted to focus on trying a new style and the idea of making a carpet came to mind. I wanted to focus on creating and trying new ideas from people around me. I was able to contune this learning and create 2 more after this. when coming to learn this craft i wanted to push myself and slowly try to get larger and mlre detailed as best as i could. Its definitely more harder then i expected it to be but after many hours on just this first one i was able to get the hand of it and make two more.
Artist Inspiration:
Camilla Iliefski is a designer and teacher in Sweden. She uses tufting as a visual medium in its own right. Her rugs resemble abstract compositions: large blocks of color, crisp lines, and gentle curves. Her work exhibits a true graphic rigor, but also a sensitivity to materials.

Itsy0r's style is decidedly pop. It features faces, logos, and objects inspired by the internet, all stylized in a flashy palette. Each piece is like a textile illustration: direct, effective, and also funny.
