April 10th - New Work

When creating art this week i really wanted to focus on slowly just cleaning up my space but also still being able to create soem art here or there. This week i was also able to go to the finger mullet film festival in which some of my art was shown at the festival which was really different but super exciting for me as an artist to go see. It was an experiance that really opened my eyes in which i can see others react to my art. I was also able to create some small pieces of art with given canvases and also the small canvases i made a different piece with.

ARTIST STATEMENT:

when creating art this week i really wanted to focus my work on creating new things and experiancing the feeling of the work "absurdity" this word is very important to how i create work. Its they way i show hwo i am as an artist. This word is what makes my art and what makes it who i am as an artist. Its a big part of my journey of an artist at flagler college.

Idea for poster

My space

when i was making art for this week i wanted to focus on making new work and the ball in the canvas really inspired me to try new ideas from instagram. I notice a lot of people i follow on instagram do a lot of art content and i wanted to try to recreate some this week and last week. i was able to also create some ideas for posters for our upcoming show and those were made with AI. At the very end i wanted to show all my work i have layed out so far. and also show the space i imagined my work to be in as well.
